A Chimney Fire-Damaged Unit

This factory-built fireplace was in great need of replacement, as was the entire system.

Many fire hazards were found at this house.

Insulation was leaning against the chimney...

Diagonal wire bracing is installed to ensure that the insulation won't fall against the chimney.

Water damaged discovered at the rear of the chimney chase.

Take a look at this damaged and
warped firebox.

Flashing installed around water-damaged area.

Garbage leftover from initial install-- this is a potential Fire Hazard!
