The Leaning Chimney of Sea Girt

Notice the lean of the large, badly damaged chimney.

The moisture damage started from a leaking crown (top of the chimney) and worked its way down the entire structure.  A full dismantle and rebuild of the entire structure was required.


Heavy duty equipment is brought in for proper demolition of large chimneys.

The mortar was so deteriorated that it
was possible to pull the bricks out by hand.

Rebuilding from the ground up.

Near completion.  As you can see, the ominous lean is now gone and our client can rest assured that this structure is Certified Safe.
